Company Secretary

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with regulators on compliance issues, such as licensing, submissions and notifications

  • Ensure company's ongoing compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines, such as the SEBI Mutual Fund Regulations and Guidelines for Anti-Money Laundering measures

  • Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999, and such other regulations that would be applicable to companies operating in the financial services sector

  • Participate in committees / meetings of the industry aimed at bringing in new legislations / amending existing legislations and lead such discussions

  • Liaise with various regulators, industry associations, legal counsels of the company and Government departments (SEBI, AMFI, Reserve Bank of India, Registrar of Companies, FIPB etc.)

  • Maintain various statutory registers and records

  • Prepare Agenda, Notices, Minutes  Board, General and various committees and independently conduct meetings  Board, Committee, AGM

  • Comply with the various requirements of Group Companies with respect to Companies Act, 1956, Stamps Act, SEBI Rules and Regulation, RBI norms and such other regulations that might apply

  • Co-ordinate with Statutory, Internal & Secretarial Auditors, suggest actions for rectification/ improvement on non- compliances/ processes, implement & maintain a process for control and follow up of rectification, corrective action

  • Update business about amendments in applicable laws and advise the entities to ensure compliances with the changed laws and contribute to the long term business strategies and plans and annual business plans

  • Responsible for companys legal risk management

  • Provide advice on all legal and operational matters in relation to the companys operations including drafting, reviewing and advising on agreements

  • Recommend appropriate actions to safeguard the companys legal rights, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Company Secretary

  • Degree in Legal, Business, Banking & Finance or Finance will be an added advantage

  • Good command over English and Business Communication

  • Independent worker and able to cope with pressure

Responsibilities

  • Gather user technical requirements and translate them into system designs

  • Degree in Computer Science/Application, Technology or related field

Business Development Manager - Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bangalore

Responsibilities

  • Handling the B2B (business to business) initiative of the company that focuses on developing tie-ups and managing relationships with financial advisors engaged in the business of selling mutual funds and / or insurance / other financial products

  • Exploring opportunities for expanding universe of such existing advisors by introducing Mutual funds/ Life Insurance to other kinds of financial intermediaries (Postal agents, Stock brokers, Tax consultants, etc)

  • Conducting training programs for the financial advisors and being actively involved in their development process

  • Developing business plans and guiding the advisors in execution of the same

Operations Executive

Responsibilities

  • Complete all transactions assigned, which includes account opening, transaction processing, commission processing and reconciliation of transaction/account opening and other daily operations processes

  • Be quality focused and work efficiently to reduce cost by adopting various automation processes

  • Preparing various types of MIS on a periodic basis

  • Ensuring smooth operations within the company

  • Liaising with Fund Houses and Registrars and Transfer Agents with regards to orders and other operational matters

  • Assisting in implementing procedures

  • Proposing new enhancement and products of existing system

  • Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation actions are performed

Requirements

  • Skilled in Excel, MS Access, MS word

  • Understanding of commission calculation and above average skills in reconciliation and settlement activity

  • Graduate Degree in Commerce

  • Passionate, driven and result oriented

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of prior work experience in mutual fund operations preferred

  • Proficient in written English and communication skills

  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
